A custom website for your small business can easily run between $2,500 to over $10,000. But most small local businesses can easily thrive with one of the really good DIY websites available, and you could definitely build your own website.
But does that make sense for you? Consider why it may be cheaper and easier to have a design professional build your website for you.
You need a website - and while you could eventually learn - you don’t have the time to create one yourself.
You really don’t want to spend the time to learn multiple skill sets like SEO, building your customer lists, integrating newsletters and blogs, hosting, maintenance, and so much more.
You need an expert to translate your ideas into the look and feel you want.
You want a designer to help with your branding, your online presence, and the unification and integration of all of your marketing.
I’m a professional designer who has been building websites for almost 20 years. My particular niche today is working with small businesses on a budget and providing them with outstanding design and functionality.
I offer free consultations and segmented pricing (i.e., you want an online brochure today, but want to start developing a client list, add a blog, or maybe add a newsletter or even a store later, segment by segment).
I work exclusively with the WIX website platform (all of my personal sites are built on it) and one of the things I love about it is that I can make all of my own changes and updates and that alone can save you hundreds of dollars when you need your site upgraded.
In addition, once your site is built and up and running, I provide you a duplicate website where you can practice making changes without damaging your real site.
Prices start at $400 for a single-page website and $700 for a five-page site. Prices will vary with complexity.
